We are welcoming Aetna as our new health care administrator in 2009. With Aetna, you will continue to have access to the Scripps Custom Provider Network and the Scripps National Provider Network – one of the nation’s largest provider networks. You and your family can expect the same high quality care, plus, you will be able to take advantage of Aetna’s advanced web resources, consumer information, support for better health and responsive customer service.

You can also:
- View and download claims and claims payment history, and review Explanation of Benefits (EOB) statements online in English or Spanish.
- Use the “send a message” feature to email the Service Center for answers and information on your claims.
- Order ID cards online.

- Link to Aetna Intelihealth® (an awarding-winning health website) and Healthwise® Knowledgebase (a decision support tool) for reliable health and wellness information

Attention New Members!
If you are currently receiving ongoing medical treatment from a non-Scripps network provider, receiving home care services, utilizing durable medical equipment, or receiving any type of on-going medical services, please go to Aetna Navigator® (go to the Navigator home page, click on Request and Changes and then Forms) or contact the Service Center at (866) 691-2734 to access the Transition Coverage Request form. This will smooth the transition to Aetna for your health care needs. Return your completed form to Aetna by mail or fax, using the contact information provided on the form.
